Below are some family-friendly events happening around town this holiday season!

Every holiday season Downtown Santa Monica brings a little ice to our beachside community, transforming the corner of Fifth Street and Arizona Avenue into the winter wonderland known as Ice at Santa Monica, an 8,000-square-foot ice-skating rink. (downtownsm.com)
 

1. Montana avenue holiday walk

Saturday, Dec 7th, 4 - 8 PM. Find wonderful gifts, have your photos taken with Santa, listen to live music, indulge in great food and drinks. This is a fun night for all! (Santamonica.com)
 

2. Main Street Holiday Party

Saturday, Dec 7th, 5 - 9 PM. Join Main Street, Santa Monica, on a festive night! Stroll Main Street and hop from shop to shop for goodies and good times. There will be music, photo ops with Santa, tree lighting, and a candlelight walk, all part of the family festive fun on Main Street in Santa Monica. (Santamonica.com)
 

3. The Venice Christmas show

Saturday, Dec 14, 8 – 11 PM. SAVE THE DATE FOR the annual Holiday tradition where we take over the Santa Monica Woman's Club and transform it into a Winter Wonderland for a night of Venice music mashed up with Holiday Classics! (all events.in)

5. 2019 EXPO Center Winter Holiday Festival

6. 11th Annual Christmas Care Exchange / Lunch with Santa

Saturday, Dec 21, 12 - 3 PM. Special Needs Network cordially invites you to our 11th Annual Christmas Care Exchange / Lunch with Santa. Join us for a free holiday celebration that will include brunch, family resources, games, live music, holiday arts and crafts, education, and a toy give-away. Children will have the chance to meet and take a picture with Santa. This event also provides an opportunity to learn about Special Needs Network’s longstanding effort to help children with autism and related developmental disabilities in underserved communities. 7. Holiday Cheer on the pier

8. 60th Annual L.A. County Holiday Celebration

Tuesday, Dec 24, 3 - 6 PM. While Santa may still be working with his elves to load up his sleigh, you can relax and enjoy a pre-Christmas Eve celebration at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion. Gather up your friends and family and go hear L.A.’s biggest holiday show, which includes more than 20 choirs, music ensembles, and dance troupes from all over the city. The free three-hour show celebrates LA’s multicultural observation of the holidays with everything from an all-female mariachi ensemble to a Korean dance troupe. Doors open at 2:30 pm and guests are encouraged to come and go as they please throughout the show. Reservations and tickets are not necessary; parking at the Dorothy Chandler is also free.
